portfolio squared

I know the old portfolio got the job done, but there is a new and improved verison up and about. It isn't really different from a layout perspective, although I did create my own CSS (which took for ever btw) for it and the rest of the pages. So check it out and please let me know if there is anything wrong w/ it, esp spelling!

my head in a jar

I am a member of Planet Informatics so everything I post also gets put on that web page too. One thing I've noticed is that everyone who posts gets a little picture of their head in a jar (similar to Futurama) next to what is written. I seem to be the only member who does not get a picture by what I write. Is it b/c my friends really don't like?? Perhaps they are trying to forget who I am and what I look like?? Maybe they realize that I'm an alien, and not in the sense of foreign to the US, and think my identity needs to be kept secret.

What does one need to do to get their head in a jar???

my summer job

Hurray for me!! I have something to do for summer. I really don't want to brag too much b/c I feel bad for everyone who is still jobless. So I get to work part time for HPER technology and the other part for UITS. I also get to continue do web work. For one week I get to help high school kids for the Informatics camp. It should be fun!

Honestly, I can't wait for this semester to be over in a couple of weeks (it sounds soo soon!). I'm not one to normally wish my life away, but this has been a horrible semester, it will be a rough finish but I'll still be glad when it's all over. Then I can finally enjoy the warm weather, if it ever comes back.
