what to do for summer.....

Lately I have been putting together my portfolio, editing my resume, and writing a cover letter. I am trying to get hired as an assistant. I spent many hours yesterday creating my portfolio and again many hours today messing w/ my resume. After pulling my hair out trying to get CSS to work I finally did it, at least I can put that on my resume now! :)

All this job stuff has definately got me thinking about the summer. I just don't know what to do with myself. I have a couple of prospects, but unfortunately nothing concrete and I have to admit it's starting to stress me out. I can work at UITS for the summer, but even 40hrs of that isn't enough to pay the bills.

I'm sure a few others out there are in a similiar boat.

So what am I going to do during summer break........

Portfolio

So I have been working all afternoon on my portfolio, which I need for a job I'm applying for. Although I did use the same style/format as my blog I ended up having to create a new HTML page. Editing the template for a new blog was turning into a huge pain. So what does everyone think?? The link for it is under the "about me" section.

And so it begins...

I think i may have a use for this blog after all. What I really needed was to sit down and figure out how the thing works and more importantly how to edit the html so that I can make it so it suits my purposes better. What is the purpose you are asking?? Well perhaps I can use it as a link to what I have done. I still haven't quite figured out how to upload files, if that is even possible. Does anyone know?? Or do you just have to put links to other websites??

So I thought I would jump on the bandwagon w/ everyone else and create a blog. I have no idea what I'm going to use it for, but at least I'm cool now. I guess I'll add more thoughts later?? :)
